The multidisciplinary team of Clínica Padrós formed by Dr. Martin, Dr. Monterrubio and two of our dental hygienists moved to the annual Congress organized by the Spanish Society of Periodontics and Osseointegration that took place on May 25, 26 and 27 in Málaga bringing together the different categories: SEPA Periodoncia, SEPA Hygiene and SEPA Gestión, as well as ExpoPerio.
At the specific congress for dental hygienists, we collected the scientific evidence published until then showing the protocols of action for a correct diagnosis based on specific clinical tests, microbiological studies and diagnostic imaging to provide a correct treatment to our patients being able to do Use of the latest technologies.
On the other hand, we tackled problems that we find in our daily practice as halitosis, xerostomia providing us with new tools for a correct diagnosis and treatment.

In the specific congress for dentists, issues of hot topic in the dental consultation such as the periimplantitis were addressed, one of the challenges facing dentistry today.
Oral surgery was also the protagonist showing innovative techniques and current alveolar preservation and immediate implantology, as well as keys for predictability and obtaining a good esthetic result in mucogingival surgery.
In addition, the revolution of digital technology was revealed, addressing its challenges, possibilities and its main contributions in the day to day.
