Patients with untreated apnea have increased mortality rates. They are 4 times more likely to suffer accidents at work and traffic and their quality of life is reduced substantially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>snoring<\/strong>&nbsp;and apnea occur when the jaw relaxes, it moves back and hinders the passage of breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can avoid the problem in 98% of the cases by the application of specific acrylic dental splints that are placed when sleeping and that cause a milimetrically controlled movement of the jaw.
